A vision appeared to Paul during the night: A Macedonian man was standing there urging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” After Paul saw the vision, we attempted immediately to go over to Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to proclaim the good news to them. – Acts 16:9-10
God spoke to Paul during the night through a vision. Paul was seeking to preach, and had been trying to go to Asia, but the Holy Spirit was preventing him. Now, he has a vision of a man in Macedonia calling him to come and help the people of Macedonia.
Paul put his logic aside, whatever his agenda was, and he chose to follow a vision. For whatever reason, many people today are very suspicious when you tell them that God spoke something to you through a vision.
It was so ordinary in the Bible for God to speak to people through visions that no one even reacted when people told about how God spoke to them in a vision.
God gives direction through visions, so learn how to see visions.
